I just explained the rich spend more when they're taxed higher. They have to or the government gets it. And the rich in the US have the lowest tax rates in the western world, plus lots of write-offs and loop-holes they can use. Quit feeling sorry for them. It's one of the most dishonest parts of the GOP agenda, that they're for fair and equal tax cuts. Everyone knows tax cuts benefit the rich much-much more than anyone else. Also id the middleclass has more money to spend corporate profits will soar and the rich stockholders will benefit that way. But sock it to the middleclass and capitalism fails. without customers nobody makes money. More millionaires were created during the Clinton era than at anytime in history by far. and he RAISED taxes. But tguess what, he also balanced the budget and started paying off the debt. That's what the market loves, fiscal responsibility. And no cooked books or phony optimism. Bush is very optimistic about the economy, he claims, but the economy sucks and everyone knows it's not going to change anytime soon. Otherwise we'd all be buying stocks. I have no interest in stocks at all. None.
