Yes we have been bombing Iraq for years. This was the case even with Clinton. While enforcing the no fly zone Saddam shoots at our planes at every opportunity and we kindly reciprocate. Saddam is not a victim here, but has been obstinate from the beginning. He knew the rules, he didn't want to follow them, and now Saddam has to go.
