Replace Hitler with any African dictator in your post. Are we going after Mugabe? It is simply the lack of CREDIBILITY of the threat - Saddam doesn't have a peer technology base to the rest of Europe. We have no pictures of camps training terrorists.

Further, Saddam is simply not Hitler, though he might be a wannabe.
