To someone who is what is called "street smart", and who values little else, most likely any of us – members of present company – will appear "naïve".

Much of what Europeans call "political sophistication" is a consequence of many centuries of wars, betrayals, endless, brutal and often pointless conflicts.

With all respect, we do just fine without such "sophistication", and without all the experiences needed to acquire it.
