John Kerry obviously had nothing to do with Chappaquiddick. He is not Ted Kennedy, he is own man with his own mind, policies, money and direction. Ted Kennedy mentored him when he was first elected long ago.He is out of Ted's shadow now for good, and has been for quite some time. Gore should have picked Kerry in 2000. He would have won with him. But now Kerry will beat Bush on his own. You watch. There is no credible dirt on Kerry anywhere. Bush will have to beat him on policy and character. And he'll lose on both counts. Bush wont even be able to bring uip military matters without everyone knowing he went AWOl from the Air Guard while Kerry was off winning the Silver Star and taking three bullets. Kerry can also neutralize Bush's huge cash stash. Just by writing a check if he needs to. with McCain or edwards as his running mate they will win - unless something screwy happens in 2004. Something like a sudden war. Will GW and his people arrange one? We'll see.
