The funniest part about all this revisionism is that one man was worried about the bubble: Alan Greenspan.

Greenspan warned of irrational exuberance raised interest rates while all the pro-Bush Republicans screamed bloody murder (just go back and read some of JDN's posts from then).

Now all of the sudden it's the Clinton administration's fault for not saving us from the bubble. My how the tune changes depending who's in the white house.

The essence of the argument is: the economy and stock market were too good under Clinton.

Where's the analysis of the '91 recession which was more severe than the 2001 recession? Or of the 1990 bear market?

I'm guessing it'll be a different kind of analysis.
