Before I get into it very much, Did you read what he said ? Message 18517865 -- I lived through WWII and know more about why we used the A Bomb then he does. Believe me if The Japanese had got there first they would not have hesitated to use it. After the fact bull shit don't fly me, We only knew at the time Germany had sent them Heavy Water, and that they were also making a plague bomb. Beside that Russia was bursting a gut at the last min to get into the Japan fray and had that happened we would have played hell getting them out of half the Islands..Ask the Japanese if they would have wanted to live like East Germany had to for years. It was essential to end it ASAP , not just because of the cost of invading, there were many other reasons, reasons that the news pundits never looked at. War is not a nice business, and we damm sure didn't start that one. Mandela can kiss me where the sun don't shine and if he gets that close I'll also punch him right in his big mouth. -- Don't get me wrong I don't like Dick Chenney, and I don't care for Bush, but they are not near as high up on my shit list as Mandela is. -- Jim
