They market will fall if war seems imminent and rally hard if war looks like it has been averted or will be over quickly. Rock_nj, that's another good reason to hope we have a short decisive war. It seems unlikely it will be averted. On another note, thanks very much to the recent posters who complimented my timing model. However, you need to know that last year's statistics indicate that the best calls of the model are greeted with skepticism and abusive comments (g). I was much less likely to get negative comments on calls that ultimately weren't so accurate. Maybe I need to build that indicator into the model (vbg). One last comment, I had my last day on the job today and now can focus on the start-up I've been working on for a few months. My partner and I are currently in the "raising capital" phase. It is going to be a strange feeling Monday morning when I don't have to get up and fight that rush hour traffic! You will be able to judge how successful I am in raising capital by the number of daytime posts I make. If I start posting much more during the day, it will be a bad sign! Good trading to all, Tom
