grampa, You express yourself very well, and are not confrontational when you do so. That is an asset that you should treasure.
I also believe that there is only on God, and have always been told that He loves all of us. I feel sure He has some chagrin that so many people of today's world have spurned Him, but in the end, His way will prevail.
I have read the book of Revelations many time, and am inclined to believe that there is something to it, because I can not believe that our lives will lead to nothing. It makes sense that He would protect His loyal people from as much trauma as possible, but the free will of men can cause many to falter at the time they should remain true.
I consider myself a conservationist, but cannot abide groups like PETA, or Green Peace. PETA nit picks, and Green Peace is too militant. All they really want is their 15 minutes of fame. There must be a plan. So many animals have been domesticated, and have a role in human existence.
BTW, there are some on this thread that believe the second coming of Christ already happened in around 75AD, even though that is a direct conflict with the words in the bible. Oddly enough, those are ones that say every word in the bible is absolutely true. I am not referring to you in this scenario. |
