Also NK would be more difficult and less justified. With Iraq you have the cease fire violations and other treaty violations plus the fact that Iraq is in position to threaten much of the world's oil supply.

You have to weigh the risks vs. the benefits. A war in Korea would be a lot more risky, it has nukes, it has a bigger army which we think would fight at least a little better, and there is at least a small chance of it getting support from China if we invade. Plus the purpose in Iraq (stopping Iraq from getting nukes) doesn't apply. Its too late, we blew out chance in NK. The current danger from NK is bad enough to show that we don't want it replicated elsewhere.

NK has two nukes.....under what scenarios do you see them dropping the two and for what purpose, since we could annihilate them in an instant?

I grow tired of hearing how NK is such a bigger threat than Iraq and that's why we can't do anything. The same argument you are making above has been repeated by every conservative rag and by every conservative I've seen on the tube in the last three months. Hasn't any conservative stopped to realize that the reason Bush is going after NK right now is not because of their two nukes but because his hands are full with Iraq?

I can understand to some degree if the issue is NK's army......from what I understand they are sizeable and well equipped and there could be considerable loss of life. However, to go on about these two nukes as being the major deterrent is specious and ridiculous.

Bush is hoping that while he gets Saddam, China will take care of NK....plain and simple.
