I suspect that PIMCO is going heavily into lower quality corporate and junk bonds which would benefit considerably from a higher rate of inflation even as treasuries would be hurt.

BTW junk bonds are acting very well of late. Holding strong gains from last fall's lows despite sharp stock market drop.
