If the US goes into Iraq then someone will have to pay for both the war and the re-building of Iraq.

Right now I'm assuming I'll pay for it. Meaning the US taxpayers. With a wee, ever so small, bit of help from some other countries. I don't really expect the oil revenues will be used for this, though who knows what happens when the bookkeeping moves money between pockets. As for gold, it's off my screen.
