cosmic, re: If you want to look for evil dictators, you don't have to look far. The UN only needs to step up to their charter and do something about these, far be it for the USA to do anything unilaterally - the French may object. re:When Bush, Sr. went into Kuwait, it was advertised as "freeing the people of Kuwait". That's what we did, freed them from Saddam. Now you can argue you didn't like the previous government - but there wasn't a lot of killing going on before Saddam showed up.
