some random thoughts...

The news coverage today is similar to the Saturday coverage of the search for JFK Jr., his wife and his sister in law. Before that, the last shuttle disaster.

I agree with Jorj. We could use a day without terrible news...

CNN recently showed that there was a band of high winds in the area at 9 EST this morning. I wonder if there is a correlation between the minor damage inflicted at takeoff and wind sheer.

There are astronauts on the space station that we need to think of as well, especially if we ground the space program for several months.
