I think that we are witnessing quite a contrast in this country.
During the Anthrax scare, many people were reluctant to open or touch their mail.
During the sniper shootings in DC, many people were afraid to go outside.
Many people have guns at home, and lock their doors for safety.
But......... a madman in Iraq has been trying to develop weapons of mass destruction for many years, has used chemicals on his own people, invaded Kuwait, had a war with Iran, and is funding terrorist groups, wants very badly to get back at America for being driven out of Kuwait; and many think that he isn't a threat. Not to worry!? Let's wait until he directs a major strike against America, first, and then we can do something. |
