American Spirit Re..Yes, Bush cut off fuel to NK just as Roosevelt did to Japan. Which started a war.

You know, it is these kind of idiotic statements which causes people to question liberals patriotism. In the first place, Roosevelt cutting off oil didn't start the war, Japan's attack on Pear Harbor did. Secondly, Japan was easily able to get oil from other suppliers, and did during the remainder of WWII. Roosevelt also cut off scrap iron, and Japan depended upon that scrap iron, as Japans iron mills were designed to run on scrap iron, and only the US had enough scrap iron to feed Japans furnaces. Even that wouldn't have precipitated Pearl Harbor, if it wasn't for FDR also telling the Japanese that if they didn't cut back on their war in China, and Burma, then the US would declare war and stop the Japanese expansionist plans. FDR cut off Japans vital war supplies in an effort to stop an existing war, and FDR saw no way of stopping Japan short of sanctions or joining the war on China's side. So while you are out their accusing GW of possibly starting a war, just like FDR, try to get your facts straight. NK gets a small portion of their fuel directly from the US. The EU paid for most of the oil, and the EU also cut off their part of the oil shipments.

Senator Lugar admitted he wished we were back with the Clinton deal.

I didn't see that Hardball show, but my bet is that all 5 senators want the Clinton deal back in full, including the part about NK giving up its nuclear programs. How convenient that you forgot to mention that part.
