And, BTW, no matter how many times that you and your socialist brethren spout it, the fact remains that, at least in CA, ELECTRICITY WAS NOT DEREGULATED. It remained fully regulated at the retail level. What was done in CA was an unmitigated disaster, with many guilty parties, both government and private, complicit in its creation, but it wasn't deregulation. And neither was the S and L mess, either, for that matter. In both cases it was a kludged up mess that the taxpayers ended up footing the bill for.
