<< God works in mysterious ways, we can't understand his plan... He gets credit for the good but no blame for the bad, >> He somehow gets credit for the bad, also. In April, 2001, missionaries in a plane, flying over Peru, were mistaken for drug dealers, and the plane was shot at and forced down. A missionary's wife and 7 month old child were killed, by a single bullet that passed thru the wife and also struck the child, killing both. An extremely tragic and uncanny event. I was very sad for the family. At the time, I wondered if the missionary was going to be able to keep his faith. The next day, the missionary said that it was the work of God. God wanted the single bullet to kill both members of his family, so that the world's attention would be focused on Peru. Unfortunately, at this time, most people in the world don't even know who to spell Peru. So, God gets credited for the good and the bad. << God works in mysterious ways, we can't understand his plan... >> On the contrary. It's easy, as long as one makes it up as one goes along. |
