California is the biggest state, about 1/10 of the US so divide by ten and you get the picture. Seriously though and from a non-partisan view, what is this country going to do with all this terrible looming debt? Dc and almost every state. The whole thing looks like we're teetering toward insolvency. And you know what that may mean? RAISING taxes. I hate the idea too but you can't stay in business losing money every year, a company or a government. I don't have many stocks yet but I may dump it all now. Even Halliburton which will benefit "big-time" from an Iraq War.
