Well to be honest with you I try to stay current with this
kind of stuff and based on my understanding even if they
even knew about that wing problem it would have
taken them a long time to devise a secondary plan
and time is one luxury they don't have once in space.
I don't know, but I agree, were the occupants told about the damaged wing?
I am very sad!
