Regarding "they screwed up", this is nothing new for NASA of course, but what is extremely disturbing to me is how lightly they took the possible damage of the heat tiles when the foam insulation from the main fuel tank tore off and slammed into the ship at takeoff.... According to what I heard, they did not even bother to try and take a good picture of the damaged area.... In any case, they are now using extremely dangerous "ancient Model-T technology" to propel people into earth orbit, so it's time to move on and phase these old ships out sooner rather than later IMHO.
