Why did they help overthrow the government of South Africa Answer, American Interests. American Commercial interests. Gold, money, oil, sugar, rubber, etc.. Even Cuba has its sole problem with the US for foreclosure and nationalization of Sugar plantations, Casinos and mining claims, that were defrauded of their rightful Spanish owners by puppet regimes and payola 65% prior. The US has "invaded" about ten countries due to nationalization of US commercial interests in foreign countries. Foreign nationalists are keenly aware of this, if the US citoyesn are not. This is chiefly why you see Yanqui go Home so popularly emblazoned on many foreign walls. It ain't all a communist conspiracy. It is the CIA/MIC "military industrial complex" that Eisehower warned us about, working hand in glove. Amoco is a branch of the CIA. It started many of the more unpopular regimes in the middle east, including the Israeli, Saud, Kuwaiti and Iraqui empires.
