cosmic, re:Been a marksman all my life, but I don't like killing things for sport. That's fine, I love target shooting especially .22 in the IR 50/50. Took my first deer last year, wondered to myself how I would feel about the whole experience. I can see how some could be turned off to the idea of taking an animal, especially Bambi. I've been at it for the last three years, it was far more work than I had ever imagined, nothing like those stupid hunting videos of "hunters" hunting deer from blinds over fields of food. Got into reloading last year and have been developing some .44 magnum, hard cast reduced loads to practice with. I take the .44 when hunting grouse, just in case a bear shows up. If I ever get over my damned flinch with that gun, I always forget how many rounds I've fired and get to number seven in a six shooter and flinch like a girl (no disrespect intended).
