Gary, yes, I think we are familiar with that bubble/deflation/inflation story.

There seems to be so much of it around now that I have the feeling that some guys specialize in it and turn it out like others turn out pop songs.

But I am saying, however, almost as a mantra, "Why is the Dow so strong?"

Is it just due to the plunge protection boys, buying and buying? If not them, then who? It's not Europe, not Russia, not Japan, not China, not OPEC, not Africa, not South America (is there anyone left?) --- they are all supposed to be moving into Euros. Can it be Americans? If so, things can't be all that bad. As far as I am concerned, nothing is looking good so why is the Dow not below 7000?
