LR: re:("if the markets have a further ten percent or so to decline why not sell a portion of equities and re-buy them ten percent or whatever lower when a buy signal arrives")

I have always thought the subject approach makes a low of sense.

I do not know Bob's reasoning for just holding while your investment melts away. It sure hasn't worked for his October 2000 QQQ buy immediately call. Bob does not communicate with me. All I have to go on is what we all have to go on - his fully diluted radio show and his monthly newsletter. I don't listen to Bob's radio show intensely anymore since I don't learn much from it, and, sometimes I do not tune in at all (like yesterday).

From your posts, I sense that you too have developed other sources of information and data to judge for yourself the market trends and outlook. It's Bob's choice to be aloof and he will reap the consequences of that choice - I wish him well and I remain grateful for his advice to be fully invested during he 1990's and his January 2000 call to raise cash reserves.

Sorry I can't be of more help Kimo Sabbi.
