I agree that there is excess credit within the system, a consumption bubble, a massive current account deficit, too much dependency on foreign capital, risks associated with foreign indebtedness blah blah blah.... I've been as big a bear as anyone since the late 90s.

I think "the bear" is miscounting the extent of the problem.
