German Protestant church leader Manfred Kock
called US President George W. Bush a 'religious fundamentalism', the
daily Stuttgarter Zeitung said Saturday.
He accused Bush of acting as if he has 'to fulfill a religious
mission'.
'Such a rationale strikes horrific fear in me,' Kock added,
stressing that it is very difficult to reason with Bush.
He also criticized Washington's pro-Iraq war stance, saying there
was almost no chance of avoiding a military conflict in Iraq.
German religious leaders have commended the German government's
strict anti-Iraq war stance.
