Is our government's charter to change every government we don't like? That could be a very long list and include a variety reasons. It might include countries which don't have human rights issues. When the U.S. has been silent on many of these human rights issues, perpetrates 10,000 civilian casualties in Afghanistan while looking for one man, bin Laden and is currently selling out the self-determination of the independent state of Kurdistan to get Turkey's favor, we look like morally of bankrupt oil-seekers in this specific case.
