Kerry is not an extremist anything. He's a progressive moderate, strong on military and vets issues, owns guns, voted with Bush on Iraq, is a war hero and is for fiscal conservatism including immediate tax cuts which wont blow out the budget and merely reward the very rich. If you think that's extremeist you ought to move to Iraq. They're very rightwing there. You'd be happy.
