Direct hit, Kimo Sabbi. I agree with you 100% down the line.

When the FED starts buying Treasury Notes, that will be a sign of surging worry about imminent deflation IMHO.

We are cursed by living in very interesting times, for sure. IMHO, this is no time to put a significant portion of one's needed savings at risk.

Also, I'm not totally sold on Bob's recommendation to buy TIPS because I do not see rising interest rates for a while and do not want to forfeit that nice GNMA return.
