Lots of talk about people getting souvenirs. The debris pattern is huge. 40 miles up doing 12,500 mph with friction causing temperatures of 3,000 degrees isn't driving to the 7/11 for beer. Theories and finger pointing will abound.

I heard one woman on the radio saying they should have had an escape hatch and blamed Bush for not having one. She probably votes and that scares me.

At the time I was driving to a reclaimation project to do some work. We were turning some land back to before the settlers got here. I heard on the radio, which had switched back to ABC, short takes from NASA and didn't understand what was happening. It was like a Sifi story. Then it all came together, daymn.
