I would put the possibility of terrorism at next to none -- more likely incompetence or simply a failure of some engineering safety system ... seems like such a tenuous thing anyway, flying a rock with wings. They'll probably get a lot out of analyzing the telemetry of the last few seconds, but if they don't it may stay a mystery.

This is one in a string of failures for NASA -- maybe space flight isn't easy. As much as it is hailed as a wonderful technological acchievement, I'm not sure what we really get out of manned flight. Not popular to say such, but seems like a lot of money to me that could be better spent elsewhere.
