I found it remarkable that they shared everything they knew. Even the press remarked at their candor.

Dittemore mentioned that he followed up on an observer in California that the press had shared with him. This observer is being made part of the time line development because he saw debris leave the shuttle.

It is as if the investigation is open to anyone who can help. This must be a first for civilization. The Hierarchy of Project Management replaced by a web of information from a swarm of sources.
