Nonetheless, suicide bombings began after he left the negotiating table, it was Arafat that chose the course of violence instead of dialogue. He had Clinton onside to help push through a deal, a deal was possible, imo. Arafat didn't want a deal. I think he still believes he can push Israel into the sea. (You know I've seen pictures of Arafat with a patch on his sleeve that is a map of a Palestinian state sans Israel.)

"could you define who you would "fight"? A definition of the target, that is...." The PA people, their homes and public infrastructure should be the target just as the PA targets Israeli people. Hey, it was Arafat that didn't want talk... on that we agree, don't we?
