it was Arafat that chose the course of violence instead of dialogu

I am not sure that the suicide bombings are under the control of Arafat. There are quite a few radical groups out there like Hamas, who do not seem to be operating under Arafat's direction.

>>>A definition of the target, that is....<<<
The PA people, their homes and public infrastructure should be the target just as the PA targets Israeli people.

Need I point out that one is terrorism and the other is a state with legitimate use of force, who calls itself "democratic", and who has a responsibility to the people under its rule?

I am sorry but I cannot agree with you that terrorist acts gives a state the right to butcher civilians. No matter where they are.

Hey, it was Arafat that didn't want talk... on that we agree, don't we?

I am not that familiar with the events, but it looked like he found the peace plan unacceptable for some reason. As I said before, I don't know why he did not offer another plan in return, or even if he were offered only a "take it or leave it" plan. Not sure if this was because he "didn't want to talk" ever, or if he waited for a better plan.

In any case, even if we assume Arafat is a moron who did not understand how adventageous the plan he refused was and will never agree to anything, I cannot see how this is an excuse for killing of Palestinian civilians.
