It is not a function of being Jewish that caused most American Jews to be liberals. Orthodox Jews are very conservative on the issues you mention, and Conservative Jews (moderately observant) tend to split pretty evenly. However, a lot of Jews who came to America were socialists (not Communists), and tended to stay to the left in politics. If you complained about the liberal bias in media, that would be one thing, but it is insidious to make a point out of an unusual number of people happening to be Jewish, especially when stretch things to include marriage.........
