Good for you, but may I point out that she also has the federally protected civil right to reasonable accommodation of her religious beliefs in the workplace. You're doing the right thing because you're a decent man. Others may be very surprised to learn that, while there is separation of church and state, employees may wear religious symbols and garments to work unless they interfere with safety. She'd probably have the right to put a cross on her desk as well, unless you banned all personal items from being displayed in employees' workspaces.
