Renowned female mining entrepreneurs at the forefront of Nunavut's
inaugural find
VANCOUVER, Feb. 3 /CNW/ - Further to media requests for a media briefing later this morning, Ms. Eira Thomas, Ms. Catherine McLeod-Seltzer and Mr. John Robins will provide details of today's announcement regarding the newly awarded land position of more than 5.5 million acres on the Melville Peninsula in the Nunavut Territory, and the results from two diamond-bearing kimberlite occurrences in the area.
Ms. Thomas is the CEO of Stornoway Ventures Ltd., a renowned geologist and the leader of the field exploration team that discovered the Diavik Diamond Project in 1994 and 1995. Ms. McLeod-Seltzer is the president of Stornoway and the recipient of the 1999 Mining "Man" of the Year award. Mr. Robins is the accomplished president of Northern Empire. All three individuals will be available to answer questions during a Q&A session.
