"you are basically saying that because some Palestinian terrorists kill civilians in Israel, it is OK for Israeli state to kill Palestinian civilians."

I don't want to say that, but I'm torn as to what can be done. I don't think it is okay for Israel to kill civilians, but I'm not sure your suggestions, made earlier, are achievable. My view, and it has been hard for me to come to it, is that middle eastern Arabs are, for the most part, antisemitic. They desire the destruction of Israel. The media propaganda Arabs are subjected to today, I would compare with the German propaganda regarding jewish people leading up to the WWII (note last year in a Saudi paper a professor explains the passover rites of jews as including the eating of gentiles). Part of the Oslo accord was for both Israel and the PA to reject hate inciting rhetoric in the media and to offer a truer picture of historical events. Israel complied, to a degree, but the PA never did. PA hate rhetoric never ceased. Until the power brokers within the PA start educating and encouraging their people on building a new society and drop the aim of destroying Israel, then Israel should stop its end of the killing. I've mentioned it before, I saw the footage of the PA mobs drenched in blood celebrating the tearing to shreds of captured Israelis. In my opinion, PA civilians are a brainwashed group of people and appear happy to kill Israelis and pray in their mosque for jewish death. I know plenty of jews who feel much angst over Israel actions against the PA, but never do I ever hear the same deliberation from middle eastern arabs through their media.

In 2000, Arafat chose to pursue his goals through violence, though having promised not to do so. So I don't get your argument, how can there be peace if the PA choses to not to engage in dialogue. What is a land deal worth, when you know the PA have no qualms breaking their promises.
