<<OH! You want to do fallacious arguments? Like comparing a single state budget to the national budget?

OK.

50 X $35B = $1.75T>>

California (the biggest state economy in the nation, New York is number 2) accounts for 13.5% of our national gdp, so i don't think that's a very fair calculation. You probably ought to multiply by 7.5, which would give you around 250 billion.

As i was looking up California's gsp, i noticed that the blue states are big economic producers compared to the red states.

In fact using 2000 numbers from bea.gov the blue states produce 54.5% of our gdp compared to the red states which account for 41%. (I considered Florida a tie).
