Sharp,

I strongly believe U.S. residential real estate is in a bubble. It varies by region.

As I've stated before on this thread, what makes Real Estate such a potentially lethal investment is that legions of people believe it is a "safe" market that never goes down. If one believes that an investment never will go down, it doesn't really matter what price one pays for it.
