I got an email from them.

Here is what is said:

There is a problem with our merchant bank. We received
notification over the weekend that they are upgrading their
system and this is creating a temporary outage.

Then they mentioned I could make the transaction via e-mail.

Sending electrons seems to be almost as complicated as
hoofing it over to the bookstore... <g>
