Sorry about the other link. Certainly, the Inquirer is respectable, however. It is true, it merely shows the conflict of interest angle, not the loan pushing. I have to go in a minute, or I would find the link again.
The third source shows a conflict of interest, even though it does not state specifically if Neil intervened on the man's behalf.
The Post story only refers to conflicts of interest, that is true.
So okay, only one source explicitly suggests a quid pro quo. The others make clear an undisclosed conflict of interest, though. Only if it were possible for him to affect the loan process would there be a conflict of interest, so at least the suspicion was there. I would be happy to note that nothing was concluded against Neil....... |
