They've managed to cap 25% of their upside just as gold is breaking out technically...doesn't seem that great an idea to me. Clearly, they are much less onerous than ABX though, and maybe comparable to NEM with respect to hedging. In a bull market, they'll go up but I suppose I'd rather hedge with cash than with a hedged miner, unless they spin it back to you (like AU does, and AU has been buying in its hedges to boot).
