Please reread the article. No where does it state that AOL is admitting that advertising screens do not increase sales. It simply states that revenue will now be flat rate...in other words AOL isn't going to rely on advertisers sales for revenue, but collect the money up front and let the advertisers worry about attracting customers. Doesn't that sound familiar....something like doing business in the real world.

For all you bears, the reason for the decline is a downgrade from Merrill Lynch from accumulate to neutral. Not this so called news from WSJ. Enjoy it while the price comes down, and then watch Merrill come in with a buy recommendation.
