Were you under the impression Sadam was a friend of Hamas? I thought he had problems with Hamas. Iran (not Iraq) was always a big supporter though, and Iran also supported the Lebanese Hizballah, and the Palestine Islamic Jihad (PIJ). Iraq does fund an Islamic anti-Iranian terrorist group- whose name I do not recall. But i have an article around here somewhere on them, if you really want the name.
