Hell Red. I just typed up this piece over on Franks Thread, though I would post it here for your reading and comment pleasure.

Very interesting day today!

Today we saw promising indicators [macro diamonds] for an undefined resourse ["The ultimate size and nature of AV-1 is unknown at the present time and remains open in all dimensions."] at the Aviat North Project area of Stornaway & Northern Empire. The stock took off on huge volume. The PDAC rumor mill sure can work magic! It was great to see this type of reaction. As others have mentioned, we can't explain this interest purely on the results. Having Eira Thomas in charge, in an area thats unexplored, where the land has been locked up and lots of blue sky can be envisioned has to have a lot to do with it.

As mentioned earlier, stornowayventures.com Aviat is about 200 km south of Twin Minings claims, and I would assume on the same craton.

On March 22 last year Will said this in a TWG wire: "Although most of the focus at Jackson Inlet has been directed toward the Freightrain kimberlite, the Cargo body also seems quite interesting, based on an initial tiny sample. That rock weighed 18.65 kilograms, and it yielded 11 diamonds, including four macros. At least two of the diamonds were macros in two dimensions, and one of the stones was two millimetres long, and it exceeded one millimetre in all three dimensions, weighing roughly 0.025 carat. The sample is still statistically meaningless, but it is certainly an encouraging start, as the counts are significantly higher than those from an equivalent sample of Freightrain rock."

It made me wonder how statistically significant todays news was?

I believe the nearest area play is Twin Mining (correct me if I'm wrong - Debeers doesn't count!) I'm surprised by not even a peep of interest there. Many don't like the management and their approach, the float and the mixing in of the Atlanta gold project to the priorities. Well I can say I sense an imbalance that's going to correct very soon. I have been buying TWG under .40, just to be above board with you all. And my guess is that SWV & NEM will be off tommorow, much like what Pele Mtn (GEM)had happen a few weeks ago. A different situation, but both with hard to explain gaps to fill.

And DSP - this is getting interesting.

It is "granted 139 prospecting permits totaling 6.15 million acres centered approximately 310 kilometers north of Norman Wells, NWT.
The Lena West Project area was selected for evaluation on the basis of the region's geologic and tectonic similarities to the important diamond producing regions of the East Siberian kimberlite province." "Early reconnaissance work by the Company in the 25,000 square kilometer permit area could represent the discovery of one of the most significant new kimberlite fields since the Lac des Gras discovery of 1991. "

A lot is resting on the credibility of Dr. Nikolai Pokhilenko in this NR. Sounds like he's on to the next hot area. He said "that the Lena West Project area overlies a new kimberlite province which probably hosts several kimberlite clusters and that "the multiple finds of coarse diamond crystals made through gold placer mining operations in the upper Yukon River basin (several finds of diamonds up to 8 mm in size and up to 28 diamonds recovered in the Klondike and 60 Mile River areas) is excellent evidence for the presence of high grade pipes (such as the Udachnaya, Aikal, and Mir pipes of Yakutia) in the Lena West Project area."

Tommorow we will see DSP rocket, very likely over 1.50, maybe over 2.00, with NO diamonds to show for it - only a promise. This game is getting very interesting!
