Excellent Klein essay

Excellent in what way, John? Excellent at restating the "False Premise" that the Arabs will take the deal below?

The maddening thing is, the outlines of a Middle East peace are obvious: Israelis abandon most of the settlements; Palestinians abandon the right of return. A neighborhood in East Jerusalem is declared the capital of Palestine; the religious sites are put under international jurisdiction. Vast majorities of Jews and Arabs support this deal. The notion that war will somehow speed along a better one assumes the Palestinians will somehow change their minds about real statehood.

We both know that they have consistently turned this deal down, and will never really consider it until the leadership structure changes. At the moment, the only thing the Palestinian Leadership will accept is having the Jews pushed into the sea. You keep looking for reason from the Palestinians, because that is how you would act. Your attitude is what the CIA calls the "Wog" factor, expecting them to act like us.

We go over and over and over this point, and I know you will never face facts and accept it. I feel like an old Jewish Mother saying, "God knows I try!" :>)
