Yes, you are absolutely right about the "actual" security that *any* particular measure offers. Check the luggage...and danger could be introduced via some other carrier or medium. Then to, make the airlines safe and the target could switch to trains, bldgs, bridges, water supplies, etc.! (As we have seen.) We are concerning ourselves here with explosives, but as you pointed out, missles and/or poison gas also are viable methods of wrecking havoc! There really is no sure way of preventing the damage of terrorists shy of stopping their activities.

Notwithstanding that, efforts must be made to make their task of destruction more difficult. In that realm, INVN does provide a service which IMHO will be utilized.
