LR: Thread can't be too dead as I hear that the summary service seems to have lifted information that was posted by me just a few days back in some sort of bulletin last night: "[T]he rise in the market following the commencement of the 1991 Gulf War may not be that relevant given the different state of investor sentiment now versus 1991. Specifically, the most recent Investor's Intelligence survey shows that only 26.1% of those newsletter writers polled are bearish. Contrast that to 1991, when there over 50% of investment newsletter writers were bearish. Thus, from a contrarian point of view, the negative sentiment back then may have helped fuel the post-war rally." Just remember, you guys got it for free <g>. Whatever. Better lifting stuff from here than trying to get past the call screener by misrepresentation in order to get something/anything to publish. Those are the times we live in it seems ....
